Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to alter the shape, size, contour or function of the nose, mostly for cosmetic improvement.

Absolute Contraindications
1- Uncontrolled Systemic Illness
2- Acute Respiratory Infection
⭐ As rhinoplasty is an elective surgery, the infection should be controlled before surgery.
3- Untreated Psychiatric Illness or Body Dysmorphic Disorder
⭐ A psychological assessment is required before taking such patients up for surgery.
4- Active Pustule or Infection in the Operative Area
⭐ Surgery is deferred until the condition resolves completely.
Relative Contraindications
1- Very Young Patient
