By accessing or using The ENT Resident, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The ENT Resident provides high quality study notes and educational resources for ENT students. We host content on Cloudflare R2 and use Cloudflare Pages and Neon Postgres to run the Service.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• Google Sign-In only. You are responsible for your account and maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent/guardian’s consent and supervision.

3. Your Content & Ownership

• We own all content, notes, videos, and materials provided on the Service.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the notes for your personal, non-commercial use only.
• STRICT NO RESELLING OR DISTRIBUTION: You may not share, redistribute, resell, reproduce, or publicly display any of the PDF notes or content from this Service.
  • Liability: Any unauthorized distribution or reselling of our content is a strict violation of these Terms. You agree that you will be liable for all damages caused by such violation, including but not limited to loss of revenue and legal fees.
• Watermarking: Downloaded PDFs may contain a watermark with your email address to prevent unauthorized distribution.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to:

• Violate any law or third-party rights.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Scrape, copy, or bulk download content for distribution.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, or overload the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. Payments & Refunds

• No On-Site Payments: We do not process payments directly on this website. Payments are handled via external platforms (e.g., WhatsApp/UPI, Gumroad).
• All Sales Are Final: Due to the digital nature of the content, all sales are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
• Access Period: Premium access is granted upon verification of payment and is for a limited period, not unlimited. The default access period is 3 years from the date of payment, unless a shorter period is specified to you at the time of payment, in which case that shorter period applies.
• Expiry: Access ends automatically at the end of your access period, without notice. No refund, credit, or extension is due on expiry. This is separate from any suspension or termination for violations under Section 4.
• Updates: We revise notes and add new notes from time to time. If you purchased access to all notes, your purchase includes both revisions to existing notes and any new notes added during your access period. If you purchased a specific note or set of notes, your purchase includes revisions to those notes only, and does not include any note you did not purchase, whether it already exists or is added later. We publish revisions and new notes at our discretion, and do not commit to any particular schedule or volume.
• Downloaded Files: Files you downloaded during your access period remain subject to the license in Section 3, for personal, non-commercial use only, with no sharing or redistribution, after your access period ends. Expiry does not give you any further rights in those files, and does not entitle you to new or updated versions.
• Future Purchases: We may change the default access period at any time for purchases made after the change. A change does not shorten the access period of a purchase already completed.

6. Service Changes & Availability

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service.

Notwithstanding All Sales Are Final in Section 5, if we discontinue Premium access entirely while your access period is still running, our sole liability is, at our option, either to provide you comparable access to the notes you purchased for the remainder of your access period, or to refund the unused portion of your access period on a pro-rata basis, calculated from the date access ends. This is subject to Section 8.

MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: The content provided on The ENT Resident is for educational purposes only. It is not intended to constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

The Service and outputs are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific content giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mausumi Das from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. DMCA / Copyright

If you believe material on our website infringes your rights, notify theentresident@gmail.com. We will review and respond appropriately.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to binding arbitration and a class-action waiver. Arbitration shall be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a single arbitrator, seated at Kolkata, India, in English. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We’ll post changes here. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
